Please note everything on this site is solely the views and responsibility of the author.
This site has been created for the following purposes:
- A school project, I'm taking designing web graphics at Northeastern University and
this site is a project for that class.
- I'm hoping it can help me get a job. I'm currently unemployed, although I've been a
system administrator for a while now, I'd like to branch out. I'm hoping to use this site
to display my skills and answer any questions about my career.
- To answer and publish the results of that question, "Does Coca-Cola rot nails"?
- The home page banner with the words Iunctus Mens Mentis, which is Latin for United Mind
if you didn't see the rollover, shows my ultimate goal for this site. The fusing of the
creative and logical parts of my mind and soul. At least those creative parts that haven't
been crushed by being a user of the web, not a producer.
Site design considerations
The overiding consideration in the design of this site is ease of navigation. That is why I
have tried to color code each section and provide nav buttons from every page. I have also
provided synopsis and last updated information on the index of every section for every page
(or group of pages) below the index. This site has been designed with cascading style sheets
(to gain experience with this new design feature),
but only enough to improve viewing for 4.x browsers. I am also learning Javascript so some
routines may not work with 3.x browsers. In those cases an IF statement will be put into the
script so 3.x browsers won't get those annoying script errors.
Now a little about your visit to my site.
Tools used to create this site
Most of the graphics were created either Paint Shop Pro version 4 or Adobe Photoshop 5.
All photograph manipulation was done in those two packages. The pictures were taken with a
Kodak DC-120 digital camera, some images were scanned on a Aztec AC-12 flatbed scanner.
The html coding was either done with notepad, Microsoft Frontpage 2000, or Allaire ColdFusion
Studio 4.0. Most of the writing was done in Microsoft Word from Office 2000.

Put mouse over flags to rollover pictures. Don't worry, I'm not this scary looking any more. I got rid of the eyepatch.
The moral here is don't get your driver's license picture taken after you've had a cavity filled.
